Gorgeous Korean Pojagi!

Here are some photos of gorgeous Korean Pojagi. The "stained glass" effect of the stitchery is one of the unique design features of this artform.

Note the ocean theme in the piece below. Traditionally, imagery in pojagi comes from scraps of saved embroidered clothing. The example below is a modern piece, and I believe the ocean waves were painted. The multi-color pojagi below is also a great example of the varying colors and sizes that can all be used in one piece.
